24700 had the chance to interview filmmaker (Me and You and Everyone We Know), performing artist and writer Miranda July today at CalArts. We caught the visiting artist in between five student studio visits and a lecture tonight that’s part of the School of Art’s Paul Brach Lecture series. July was generous in talking to us about her career, what she’s sharing with CalArts students and what she’s working on next.
