You’ve Probably Read This Before from the School of Critical Studies

anthologycoverOn Sunday (Dec. 13), a dozen writers will read their works that have been included in You’ve Probably Read This Before–a new Alumni Anthology from CalArts’ Writing Program. The event at the REDCAT Lounge not only celebrates the release of the anthology, but also the breadth and depth of the Institute’s literary voices.

The title of the collection references the fact that these CalArts authors (alums from 1996-2008) have recently published works in a wide array of books, journals, magazines and other venues. Readers in Sunday’s program include: Harold Abramowitz (MFA 06), Amanda Ackerman (MFA 06), Danielle Adair (Art-Critical Studies MFA 07), Andrew Choate (MFA 03), David Earle (MFA 07), Daiana Feuer (MFA 07), Andrea Lambert (MFA 08), Janice Lee (MFA 08), Eric Lindley (MFA 08), Robin Myrick (MFA 08), Mathew Timmons (MFA 05) and Amanda Yates (Film/Video-Critical Studies MFA 06).

This event is free and open to the public. For further information call the REDCAT Lounge at 213 237-2809 or visit online.  Copies of the anthology will be on sale at the event or by contacting writing@calarts.edu
