		<description><![CDATA[Strange how portraits exist outside of time. For sure we can have visual cues to date a photograph, or a painting but without these all we can say is that they are people, just like ourselves.
I like the theory that a cro magnum man could travel on the london tube, in modern clothes, and not raise an eyebrow. I assume Nicholas Grider&#039;s military photographs are recent, but it would be no suprise to see posters advertising James Dean movies in the background, or the Fonz flicking back his hair.]]></description>
