One of my favorite movies is “Long Kiss Goodnight” with her and Samuel Jackson, written by Shane Black and “Cutthroat Island,” directed by Renny Harlen! She portrayed very strong women in these films and as a female producer, it has inspired me deeply. I am glad that she too recognizes the lack of female power in Hollywood and is striving to make a difference. When I’m working, I’m always amazed when someone tells me that they rarely see women producers and ethnic ones at that! I am an African-American women producer, which is even more rare in Hollywood!
