Jerry Saltz, art critic for New York Magazine and formerly of The Village Voice, named the Mike Kelley retrospective at MoMA’s PS1 as one of New York’s 10 best of the year.

The exhibition, which features more than 250 works from the late Kelley (Art MFA 78)—a CalArts alumnus and former faculty member—runs through Feb. 2, 2014, in Long Island City, New York, before opening at MoCA in Los Angeles in March. To date, it remains the largest installation that PS1 has ever organized.

Saltz writes: “There are few young artists who don’t owe the late Mike Kelley some gratitude. This building-filling show proves that he remains the rare talent who could fill up PS1 and still make you want more….”
