CalArts’ Inaugural Scholarship Fair on Tuesday

The Financial Aid office is hosting the first CalArts Scholarship Fair on Tuesday (April 21) from 1-4 pm at the Patty Disney Center for Life and Work (Room G201 of the Generator Building at CalArts). The informal event is designed so that students can stop by and meet with financial aid representatives to find out how to discover new scholarship opportunities and to get answers to their questions.

The Financial Aid office will have a table at the event to answer questions about private scholarships. They will also introduce attendees to SALT—a free, nonprofit web service that gives students and alumni financial tools to manage their student loan debt and other monetary issues in one place. The organization, which has partnered with CalArts, also allows users to get free advice from loan counselors and to find scholarships, internships and jobs.

In addition, other representatives will be on hand at the Scholarship Fair:

Refreshments will be served and students can participate in a raffle.
