"Choose Joy" | Robert Glenn Ketchum

Color is the primary focus of  photographer-artist Robert Glenn Ketchum (Art MFA 74) His most recent imagery, exhibitions, lectures and writings on the “Evolving Perspective of Nature” address the political realities of natural resource management, preservation and other environmental issues.

Ketchum’s recent books include Regarding the Land: Robert Glenn Ketchum and the Legacy of Eliot Porter (2006); Wood-Tikchik:  Alaska’s Largest State Park (2003); and Rivers of Life: Southwest Alaska. The Last Great Salmon Fishery (2001).

College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., is hosting Ketchum tomorrow evening (Sept. 17) for a lecture and book signing. The event is being held in conjunction with a mini-retrospective of Ketchum’s work at the College of the Canyons Art Gallery.
