Thursday nights are always action-packed at CalArts with live music and gallery openings, but tonight (Feb. 2), graphic designers are adding to the frenzy with the 2012 CalArts T-Shirt Show.
The annual show, presented by the CalArts AIGA Student Association and the Graphic Design Program, features more than 60 different CalArts T-shirt designs by students, faculty and alumni of the Graphic Design Program. New shirts—printed on Alternative Apparel garments in sizes S, M, L, XL— are priced at $15 (2 for $25) and past show shirts are $8. Only cash will be accepted.
Proceeds benefit design workshops at CalArts, visiting designers’ expenses as well as the annual AIGA BBQ in the Fall.
