The School of Theater recently showcased the work of graduating and continuing students in the Design and Production programs. The annual Portfolio Review allows theater and entertainment industry professionals from across the country to see the work from set designers, costume designers, lighting, sound and video designers, puppetry artists as well as technical directors, stage managers, production managers and producing students.
Approximately 150 students presented at this year’s review—more than any previous year. There were also more professional organizations and representatives in attendance this year than in recent years, including independent and experimental theater directors, and guests from from Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios Creative and RGH Entertainment, among many others. For the first time, this year’s review also included portfolios from graduating students from the Video Design for Performance program.
