Yesterday (Sept. 12), students returning and new gathered at The Wild Beast and at The S. Mark Taper Foundation Courtyard for CalArts’ annual President’s Picnic—an afternoon of food, late summer sunshine and mingling. Students were treated to an early dinner while President Steven D. Lavine greeted students and talked about the year ahead.
