Alumna Liz Larner Featured on MOCAtv’s The Artist’s Studio

MOCAtv is an online video channel dedicated to contemporary art, with programming and content developed by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles. Last week, the digital channel released a new video that features renowned sculptor and CalArts alumna Liz Larner (Art BFA 85) for the series, The Artist’s Studio.

The first part of the video is an examination of her physical workspace, materials and glazing process while the latter part of the video focuses on Larner’s piece, Untitled (Wall) (2000-2001), now on view at MOCA Grand Avenue.

Untitled (Wall) (2000-2001) is included in the current exhibition Room to Live, which emphasizes recent museum acquisitions and selected large-scale works or single-artist presentations from MOCA’s permanent collection.

Room to Live is on view at the museum through March 31.
