The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at CalArts presents its first student dance concert of the Spring 2015 semester on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 12-13) at 8 pm in The Sharon Disney Lund Dance Theater. The Open House Dance concert features choreography by three MFA students and eight BFA students.
Brand new works by MFA-1 students Kira Blazek, Leslie Scott, and Lily Kind, plus BFA students Lainey Bowers, Amy Chihara, Whitney Jackson, Hee Eun Jeong, Manuel Meza, Dion Pratt, Carissa Songhorian and Payton Smith are on the program.
The works were chosen by curatorial committee comprised of faculty members Sevim Abaza, Laurence Blake, Glen Eddy, Andre Tyson and Cynthia Young.
