Now that CalArts’ spring semester is underway, faculty and students are addressing the current COVID-19 quarantine era in creative ways, making art—as a salve for the soul or to help make sense of it all.
Composer, violist, and conductor Eyvind Kang, Mel Powell Chair and coordinator of the Musical Arts/Experimental Pop (ExPop) Specialization at CalArts, has been working with ExPop students, faculty, and friends to develop weekly playlists.
