Coleman Zurkowski’s Instrumental Debuts on dublab Radio

On Saturday, July 18, Los Angeles-based internet radio station dublab is presenting Instrumental, a concert-length composition by CalArts alum Coleman Zurkowski (Music MFA 14). The program airs on dublab’s website at 6 pm PDT. 

Inspired by Gregorian chant, Instrumental is a contemporary, meditative piece composed for pipe organ, cello, viola, clarinet, flute, and two vocalists. Zurkowski went on tour last year, performing in churches across the US. 

dublab is a nonprofit radio station with diverse programming, which includes next-wave music, art exhibits, films, and educational programs related to health, youth, development, and creative processes.
