On Friday and Saturday (Dec. 4-5), The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at CalArts presents its annual Winter Dance Concert featuring an ambitious, multitrack, online experience. In partnership with REDCAT, CalArts Dance faculty and students have put together an immersive and imaginative concert that charts their “personal and shared histories with fresh insights through cutting-edge cartographies.”

The program includes five new works performed by CalArts dancers and choreographed by current CalArts faculty members: HereHear by Spenser Theberge, Threat by Yusha-Marie Sorzano, Bricolage by Holley Farmer, the proximity dance by sam wentz, and As Yet Untitled (vignettes) by Rosanna Gamson/World Wide.

For the first time ever, the CalArts Winter Dance Concert will be presented virtually, bringing together dancers from around the world (Cyprus, Germany, Japan, Peru, Russia, Taiwan, and all across the U.S.).

Tickets are available on REDCAT’s website
