The Film Fridays segment appears every Friday and features films and videos from students, faculty and alumni of the six schools at CalArts.
Today’s Film Fridays selection features the work of CalArts BFA 3 experimental animator David Braun. His film, Tick Tock Timecrow, screened at the CalArts Experimental Animation program showcase at REDCAT on May 5.
In the piece, vintage film has been juxtaposed with Braun’s hand-drawn animation, featuring George M. Cohan’s song Life’s a Funny Proposition After All from 1904.
