CalArts’ Community Arts Partnership (CAP) offers after-school and school-based arts programs for youth ages 6-18 in every discipline taught at CalArts. CAP instructors at partner sites and schools throughout Los Angeles County teach youth artists to create original works in visual art, media and performance, and to experiment with conventions of artistic expression.
Two CAP teachers and three students have recently won awards for their work. Below is a round-up:
CAP Student Accolades
Stephanie Delazeri
Longtime CAP student and La Salle High School senior Stephanie Delazeri won awards for two films at the third annual Los Angeles Student Film Festival: Best of Show and Best Animation for The Horror, and Best Animation for In The Home.
