Now through Saturday (May 30), CalArts’ Community Arts Partnership (CAP) presents the 2015 Annual CAP Youth Arts Exhibition at Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA) in Downtown LA.
The exhibit showcases visual art, graphic design, photography and animated films by students from the past year’s CAP programs, including the CAP/CalArts Digital Media Program, Self Help Graphics Digital Media & Printmaking Program, SOHDA High School Animation Program, Sony Pictures Media Arts Program, Newhall Elementary School Art Pilots Program and Fiat Lux Saturday Photography Program, which includes work from the Hong Kong Photography Exchange Project.
CAP links CalArts with the diverse communities in LA County through tuition-free, after-school, summer and school-based arts programs. These alumni- and faculty-mentored programs provide in-depth arts training in visual, performing, literary and media arts.
