Tonight (July 28), the Old Style Guitar shop in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, hosts a release party for singer-songwriter and CalArts alumna Pearl Charles’ (Music BFA 13) eponymous debut EP.
Described by Spin as “somewhere between a gentler, silky Jefferson Airplane and the more fiery sides of Joni Mitchell,” Charles has toured with such indie-folk acts as The Growlers, Father John Misty and Thee Oh Sees.
Following tonight’s release, Charles embarks on a California tour, details below:
