You’re Invited: 2016 CalArts Open Studios

On April 24, the MFA candidates from CalArts School of Art present the 2016 Open Studios from 1-6 pm.

The annual event welcomes the CalArts community and the public into the creative workspaces of the graduate students in the Art, Photo & Media, Art & Technology and Integrated Media programs.

This year, there are 78 MFA candidates who will present their works (in various stages of completion) and will be available to discuss their art practices with guests. In addition to the artists’ studios, the CalArts’ Bijou Theater will screen video work from MFA candidates from 1-5 pm.

The 2016 Open Studios event is free and open to the public. Maps will be available to visitors to navigate the sometimes labyrinthine spaces on campus.
