Two days each semester, the CalArts community comes together to sign up for classes the old-fashioned way: In person with students and teachers discussing classes and options together. While most colleges (and the Institute’s School of Critical Studies) have moved entirely to online class registration, CalArts still favors the personal interaction.
Where else but CalArts can you spot a number of internationally known artists, dancers, filmmakers and musicians in and around the Main Gallery at the same time?
