Oniomania is an “uncontrollable desire to buy things.” It’s also the name of a group exhibition now showing at Martha Otero Gallery in Los Angeles through Sept. 3.

Perhaps the obscure title serves as subliminal messaging to potential art collectors because the exhibition features prints, multiples and products from a number of renowned artists, including Chouinard Art Institute alumni John Baldessari (1959) and Ed Ruscha (1956).

Also on view are works by James Jean, David Choe, Jen Stark, FriendsWithYou, Darren Romanelli, Chris Beas, Jonathan Borofsky, Liz Craft, Sebastian Clough, Wim Delvoye, Lia Halloran, Adam Janes, Brad Kahlhamer, Donald Lipski, Bruce Nauman and Jason Polan.
