The Credits, a new online magazine of the Motion Picture Association of America, launched in August to capture all facets of the movie-making industry—shedding light on some of the names that roll onscreen as a film ends, from directors to gaffers and other positions both above and below the line.
One of the magazine’s first series spotlights film schools, and last month, a crew from The Credits came to CalArts to profile the School of Film/Video.
We posted the video, above, which features interviews with current students Nijla Mumin (Film/Video MFA 13), Sonja Bertucci (Film/Video MFA 13), Amanda Candler (Film/Video BFA 14) and alumnus and CalArts admissions counselor Andrew Ahn (Film/Video MFA 11), who talk about their experience at CalArts, their love of film and current projects.
The Credits also took a tour of campus for “a look behind the scenes at one of today’s most exciting film schools.”
