Ann-E1, also known as CalArts voice student Annie Han Dai (Music BFA 24), made her US debut in late June with the release of the electronic music single, “Make Me Forget.”
The song, written by CalArts alum Jaslyn Loftin (Music BFA 19)—aka J.Lyn—was first released on May 26 in China, Dai’s home country. Produced by the Honolulu-based electronic duo EMC², “Make Me Forget” peaked at #23 on Cloudmusic’s Soaring Chart in China and at #26 on China’s Global Song Chart.
The song is now available on most streaming platforms in the US, including Spotify and Apple Music.
